Description
- For bonding gas concrete bricks
- For bonding pressed bricks
- For bonding pumice bricks
- For bonding stones
- It has high adhesion strength
- Can be used for repairs and small fillings up to 50 mm
Surface Preparation
Before application, gas concrete, pumice and pressed brick blocks should be dry. If the surface temperature is above 25°C, the surface must be pre-wetted in a way to be moistened for the appropriate temperature. Thus, helps the adhesive from losing its water quickly.
Product Preparation
25 kg Mortex MT-30 is added slowly into 5-6 kg of water and mixed for 5 minutes with 400-600 rpm mixer until it reaches a homogeneous paste. The prepared mixture is allowed to rest for 5 minutes, then mixed again before it is applied to the surface with an appropriate trowel. Proper chiseling is performed. After the material is applied to the surface, it will adhere according to the air temperature and the climatic conditions.
Application Method
The prepared mortar is spread on the surface with a notched trowel or trowel with appropriate tooth size. The prepared mortar should be adhered on the gas concrete blocks, or bricks within 5 minutes. If this time has elapsed, the mortar should be scraped off the surface and re-applied. The laid bricks should be rammed from the top and side to assist in better spreading of the material, thus resulting in better adhesion.
