Surface Preparation
Fino FN-20 White should be appliedon top GRAMATEK Suva SV-10 Plaster and Leveler. The surface should be dry, clean, sound and free of dust, oil, dirt or adhesion preventive materials. Application surface should be moistened with water if necessary. After the surface cleaning, the surface should be primed with GRAMATEK BetonContact or GRAMATEK Acryflex Primer as a single layer to increase the adhesion strength and balance the surface. If the surface is cracked it is suggested to be filled with GRAMATEKMortex MT-30, 24 hours prior to application.
Product Preparation
25kg Fino FN-20 White is slowly added into approximately 5.5-6 liters of clean water and mixed with a low-speed mixer until no lumps remain. The prepared mortar is rested for 5-10 minutes to mature and mixed again for 1-2 minutes. The mixture in the container should be consumed within 2-3 hours.
Application Method
Application should be performed on all surfaces with equal thickness with the help of steel trowel. After the plaster has discharged its water, the surface should be clovered and the final corrections should be made with a damp sponge. If a smooth surface cannot be obtained when completely dry, sanding should be applied where necessary. Application thickness should be between 1-3 mm in one coat.
Application Recommendations: After application, the surface should be moistened for 2-3 days. After the full drying time, sanding should be done. For a better, finer and smoother finish, use GRAMATEK Duoplast DP-22 wall putty.
