Description

BetonContact Primer is an adhesion promoter on: Plaster, Brick, Concrete, Terrazzo, Ceramic Tiles, Non-absorbent substrates in general like: Plasterboard, Plastic, Metal, etc. BetonContact Primer ensures a rough bonding surface and reduces substrate absorption, allowing for proper anchoring of plaster, leveling compounds, and tile adhesives. The compatibility of the system composed of different materials must be verified before installation and depending on the intended purpose. The product is characterized by: Very high adhesion; Low VOC; Quick drying.

Surface Preparation

The substrate must be clean, dry, cured, and free of oil, grease, and loose particles. Surface should be solid, dust-free and clean thoroughly of all kinds, rust or paraffin residues that will weaken the adherence. There should be no loose grains or materials on the surface.

Product Preparation

The product can be applied by brush, roller, or spray. BetonContact Primer is ready to use, but, if necessary, it can be diluted with clean water up to a maximum of 10%, depending on the surface and the area of use.
Application Method
It is recommended to mix BetonContact Primer with a low-speed mixer less than 500 rpm. Drying time is 45-60 minutes. If needed, two hands can be applied only after the first hand has been completely dry. Do not apply on it before it dries. The temperature of the application surface should be minimum 5°C-30°C. After the applied BetonContact Primer has completely dried, the application of GRAMATEK Acryflex Acrylic Plaster or GRAMATEK Acrysil Silicone Plaster is recommended. Other GRAMATEK mortars should be applied 24 hours later.
