Description
It is used as finishing plastertopcoat for thermal insulation boards (Expanded polystyrene – EPS and extruded polystyrene – XPS), indoors and outdoors. Easy to apply and ready to use product that provides excellent adhesion. It has high resistance to water and frost and is not affected by temperature changes because due to its special formulation. Acrysil Silicone Plaster provides high stability, does not sag or crack while allowing the surface to breathe. Paint can be applied directly on it.
Surface Preparation
The application surface should be solid and free from adhesion preventive substances such as dust, oil, tar, flaking paint, silicone, curing agents, detergents, etc. Acrysil Silicone Plaster is applied minimum 12 hours after the application of GRAMATEK Acryflex Primer.
Product Preparation
Acrysil Silicone Plaster is a ready to use product. If necessary dilute with maximum 250 ml of clean water. Mix well with a low-speed mechanical mixer. The mixed product is rested for 5 minutes before application. The diluted mass should be applied within 24 hours.
Application Method
At least 24 hours after the application of GRAMATEK Acryflex Primer, a layer of Acrysil Silicone Plaster of 1-2 mm thickness is applied, depending on the chosen granulometry render. Application must be done with a stainless-steel flat trowel. After approximately 10-30 minutes the surface is smoothed for painting with a plastic trowel. Depending on the weather conditions, it is necessary to wait 1-3 days before painting.
